Roller Coasters!!

The article "What’s Green and 154 Feet High?" by Mekado Murphy will spark interest to anyone looking for a quick thrill along with bringing back old memories of amusement parks and the interesting history behind adding a new ride. The six Flags in New Jersey has just recently added a new roller coaster in honor of the comic book series "Green Lantern". This roller coaster is cutting edge but also shows a history. It was designed and made by “the Rolls-Royce of roller coaster designers” Bolliger & Mabillard. This article informs its reader of the new measures amusements are taking to ensure comfort as well as giving its audience the most thrilling ride on the market. It inspires and persuades people, including myself, to go visit and experience this one of a kind ride.
This article reaches back into our memories as a kid and makes us remember our first upside down roller coaster hoping it will trigger a road trip in the near future. When I read this article I love to think how the design of a roller coaster isn’t the only thing that gets people to an amusement park but perhaps for these comic book junkies it’s about getting to read the history of their favorite comic book series, Green Lantern, while waiting to then experience it. These small pleasures in life enhance the idea of happy for most; at least I know they do for me.
This article does a wonderful job of leaving myself and the reader leaving our computer or setting down our smart device with a smile and nice recollection of an early time. It inspires us to try a new ride by telling us the advancements and new comforts it has to give without making us think of anything negative; money for gas, money for the ride, the long lines or the obnoxious people. Judgment wise I have none, yes they secretly want you to go visit the park they aren’t just telling you for fun but it’s a great advertisement for the park with a very promising return unlike most places. As far as beliefs go… I believe in roller coaster! I would recommend any type to anyone. They make most people happy and leave a person feelings satisfied. Everyone needs to relive that first upside down thriller again in their lives and if the Greene Lantern is the way to do. Then GO for it!!
